Of course you can argue that it's the best 20 lbs line since it's the thinnest 20 lbs line that still breaks way above 20 lbs.Today we will compare some of the best weighted belts for running, walking and cardio exercise available on the market today. Even double line uni has a knot strength of 25 lbs. I think it's the best 10lbs line since it has the diameter of most 10 lbs line but breaks like most 20 lbs line. Again, disappointed in jbraid at least in 15 and 20lb varieties, maybe I just got bad spools idk. ![]() Typically I've always used standard PP and haven't had too many issues, and now is the first time using SSV2 30lb on a SSVI4500LL reel, and the line seems really nice. I was going to re-spool my BG2500 with 15lb, and my Spheros Inshore 4000 with 20lb braids, both SSV2, but if this maxcuatro line seems that much better, then that might be the best bet. ![]() ![]() Thank you! Do you think this line is the best 20lb braid overall? I've been really disappointed with regular jbraid in both the 15 and 20lb varieties, they just seem very limp and much more prone to wind knots than original PP and SSV2. Really great to see a methodical approach to line testing. You can see the ABS and FG knot strength in the images below as well as how easily it broke the 50 lbs Ande mono leader in the FG knot test. FG knot strength is quite good even taking it's abrasive nature in consideration. Overall, the 20 lbs test is probably the best 10 lbs test braid on the market because it is indeed the size of most 10 lbs braid in diameter but breaks 8 to 15 lbs higher. It cuts thru mono leader quite impressively and that's probably not a good thing unless you're looking to slice thru vegetations with it. It barely edged out the much cheaper Yozuri Super Braid 8 in 15 lbs in strength to weight ratio but it seems to have better knot strength with one very odd quality. ![]()
